1 Answer

Display problem I have a Qosmio G35-AV600 and suddenly the LCD display started to show me all vertical colour lines and went blank. Now half the screen shows blank and the other half is normal. What can I do to fix this problem. Call Toshiba and was told my warranty has expired.

Re: Display problem

Could be 2 main causes, either the LCD converter under or behind the screen under the beizel has failed and is messing up the display, or simply the sreen could have been cracked at one point, either way these parts have to be obtained from toshiba.. EMPR do toshibas spare parts, if you are in australia

The screen has red dots all over and is more intense in dark images

If your screen displays fine on an external monitor, then you are having either a screen problem or a screen cable problem. If it displays the same way on an external monitor, then you are having problem with your display/graphics adapter on the mother board.

All the best.
