My Opel Corsa 1400 has done 201,300 km on the clock. Not realy using oil. Every now and then pushes a bunch of smoke through the exaust system when starting the engine.

On higher mileage engines the internal parts are very worn such as piston rings. This can allow small amounts of oil into the ignition chamber. This burns off as you run the engine.
If the amounts of smoke is small and not very often it is nothing too serious to worry about. If there is a lot of it and it regularly happens, the only way to fix the problem is to completely dismantle the engine and rebuild it with all new seals and gaskets, a full engine rebuild.

Smell of brunt oil oil level is good but smoke of oil coming from engine

A very small amount of oil weeping onto something hot, manifold, turbo etc can give off considerable smell with little smoke. What's the miles?
When was the last service?
What condition is the engine?
Worn engine can give pressure in engine forcing oil fumes/vapour out of breathers onto hot surfaces which then enter car ventilation system.

If the smoke is white, it is water from a head issue. If it is dark it is too much fuel. Blue smoke is oil

Oil coming out of air filter

It is quite normal to have a small amount of oil in the airbox, however exsess oil in the airbox will find its way into the engine and burn hence smoke, remove the engine breather pipe from the engine to airbox and clean then replace, exsess crankcase pressure is caused by pressure leaking past the piston or rings, during detanation, dismantling of the top end of the engine is required for inspection, poss new piston and rebore.

WHEN STARTING WILL SMOKE HEAVY , ON THE NEXT TIME WILL NOT SMOKE,WHEN SMOKING HEAVY WILL CLEAR AFTER A LITTLE WHILE IT IS A 911 2.4 E 1973 . Motor has been overhauled , new bearings , heads ,new rings,...

I would think that the blueish smoke is most likely from the valve stem seals leaking. When they leak they allow a small amount of oil to pool on the top of the pistions. When you start the engine it will smoke for a little bit then it will clear up. I would look in to changing these, however it will require removal of the lifters, valve spring, ect. Another suggestion is to try running an oil thicking product such as Lucas Oil Treatment or NO SMOKE.

Im getting black smoke --like creasote in my Lil Tex--What causes that?

If there is a small amount of black smoke, a little amount of carbon, don't fuss. It's normal. Remember low heat means a lot of smoke, high means quicker cook time, less smoke.

My 1999 jeep cherokee sport will not start. Fuel is fine, filter is good, car tries to turn over but does not engage. Small amount of white smoke from the back of the engine. Replaced the battery,...

Have you looked at the crank position sensor? It's mounted on the transmission bellhousing, on the right side of the engine near the top. It's a relatively cheap part and is fairly easy to get to.

Wait a minute, when you say "small amount of white smoke from the back of the engine," do you mean under the hood, or out the exhaust pipe?
