Some programs will not function on specific types of motherboard, and this may be the case here. Perhaps clockgen would work instead?

I'm afraid that I don't know this particular mobo, so don't know what to suggest for particular speeds, but you can get clockgen here:

PC Upgrade for a biostar p4m90-m7a motherboard

Biostar Support > P4M90-M7A > Main Support page,

http://www.biostar-usa.com/mbdetails.asp?model=K8M80-M7A

Uses a Socket 754 processor socket.

How pray-tell are you using an Intel processor that uses an LGA 775 processor socket?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socket_754

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGA_775

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Intel_Pentium_Dual-Core_microprocessors#.22Allendale.22.2C_.22Conroe.22_.2865_nm.29

You aren't.
What is the motherboard manufacturer name, and model number?
Post back in a Comment.

However if we are to use the Biostar P4M90-M7A for an example;

Biostar main support page above;
Top right; small subheading -> Support
Click on the blue, (Purple?) subheading -> CPU Support

As for the motherboard in question that uses the Intel Pentium Dual Core E2200, find out what the motherboard chipset is, then you will know what CPU's are supported.

(You know now that the processor socket is an LGA 775)

Use CPU-Z from CPUID.com (TINY program, and Free),

The Northbridge chip of the motherboard chipset, handles the Processor. (Plus Ram Memory, and HIGH-speed graphics),

Choose "System and Maintenance," typically located near the top left-hand corner of the Control Panel

Checking the Stock CPU Speed in Windows XP

Click the "Start Menu.

Right-click on "My Computer."

Select "Properties." By default the Properties window will usually be set to the "General" tab, but if the window is set to a different tab you'll need to click on the "General" tab located near the top of the window.

Check the CPU rating as listed underneath the "Computer" heading.

Determining Real-Time CPU Speed

Go to CPU Speed Professional's website (see Resources) and download "CPU Speed Professional."

While other free CPU clocks exist, many are beta programs with glitches and unwanted bugs. CPU Speed Professional is well-known and reputable, receiving the "Vista 5 Star Software Award" according to its website.

Install the recently downloaded

file by double-clicking on it and following on-screen prompts to complete the automated install procedure.

Open CPU Speed Professional.

Click "Test Your Speed" on the main program interface.

A real-time, active measurement of your CPU speed will appear numerically, and CPU Speed Professional will also display your CPU speed on a stylish meter for easy visual comprehension.

hope this helps

ive had a similar problem before. in the BIOS there somewhere, there is an option to make your computer use the ON BOARD VGA, or to use the PCXI. which ever one is selected is the one that the computer will use. if you can change this option in the BIOS, you might be able to use your video card.

I have installed a xp3 in my system , and driver also, but there is no sound. but when we installed xp2 and same driver than its ok........... my system mother board from biostar company

You can find the driver for the sound card here:

http://www.biostar-usa.com/app/en-us/support/download.php

But you have to know the exact mainboard number.

You can find the number by installing this small program from here:

http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html

Select the english setup.

It does not harm to upgrade the other drivers also.

Hope this was helpfull.

My cpu fan's speed is very high. i will produce too much noice. can i reduce my fan's speed?? if i reduced that then what happened?? is there any problem????

On my computer when I first power up the display screen gives me the main board details and an option to change settings on it by pressing an F Key. Does your computer do the same? If it does you should press the key and it will give you the options to control and alter things like fan speeds. Don't forget to check if dust or something else is causing the noise.

Dual core E2160 1.8ghz doesnot display actual speed

i think the reason for not using 800fsb is your memory. make sure that you use ram that supports 800 fsb (ddr2-800).

as i don't have the manual i describe you another problem that may be the reason if you already use ddr2-800 ram -> on some mainboards the fsb is rated down when a defined level of memory built in is reached. please check your manual if your board has such a limitation.

Problem in overclocking my Processor.

1: You problem is your power supply, PSU. When you try to give more power to your CPU by overclocking it, it doesn't have enough wattage, or power, to get the CD drive, or your sound card to work. This is why the CD drive works again when the CPU isn't overclocked. So, in this case, to overclock your CPU, you would have to get more power to your system by getting a more powerful PSU, or one with more wattage. How much you can overclock your processor depends on a variety of different things. Your RAM, PSU, HDD, CD drive, etc. I would not go past about 3.4ghz with your processor, however, a "max overclock" is hard to determine.

2: The maximum temp for your processor is 70C, 158F. I would try to keep your temperatures under 60C to ensure your processor doesn't "die early" on you. The multiplier cannot be changed, only the FSB can be changed. You should be able to create a "profile" in bios and set it to your default so that it loads up automatically when you boot up. Make sure you find a stable configuration before you make a default profile.

Motherboard

This could be several issues. You need to be much more specific on exactly what you done and what you installed. No video boot could be the following:
1)Memory clock speed not compatible- Say board only see clock speeds of 200,266,333mhz but you installed 400mhz CL or the bios is not set to auto mem cl speed and you need to manually change mem clock speed.
2)Your CPU, memory, or video card not fully inserted
3)Memory module of video no good if it has onboard mem cells
4)You forgot to plug in the yellow/black CPU connector on the board sending no power to the cpu
5)CPU pin bent on install or not seated correctly
I could go on and on but there are a few issues that cause no video boot so double check all you cards and connections.
