Hi ewcah,
I assume you have installed your printer according to the manufacturer's instruction manual.
I also assume that you haveread but misunderstood the "tutorial and help" buttons on the toolbar.
There are many ways to enlarge printed output:
Most software provides access to print fonts (how the characters appear) and font size both of which will be in the toolbar for the software, This route is easiest because you can use the page preview button to see what the result will look like.
In the drop down FILE menu, will be a section about printing. You can set up the page (margin sizes, headers etc.), preview how the page will look, and print it.
In the preview section, you can often increase and decrease the percentage size of the contents to fit the page.
Depending on your printer, the print button often takes you to the printer control page where you can specify copy numbers, margins etc. There are Option and Properties buttons on some print control pages which allow you to make many more print output changes.
I hope this helps you get started,
jenni

Change font size in e mail

The printer prints whatever it's told to by the computer. Your printer really doesn't control the fonts.

When you are printing stuff from the internet (web pages, email, etc.) the reason for the small print is that it is related to the size of the monitor and it's viewing setup (the higher the screen resolution, the smaller the print will be when printing it out even though it looks good on the monitor).

One way you can make the print larger when printing internet stuff & emails is by changing the print view size on the screen to a larger size in your web browser (this is separate from your other setting you've already setup). Go to the menu bar at the top (i.e. Internet Explorer), click on "View," then "Text Size" then select a size like "Larger" or "Largest" (something higher than what you're currently set to.)

Another method is to go to your menu bar at the top of your web browser, click on "File" then "Print Preview". At the top of the window there should be a small window with "Shrink To Fit" in it. Click the arrow for a drop down list and choose something probably above 90% or more (maybe 100 or 125%) and see how it changes the print size of what is to be printed out.

The only other method is to copy & paste the text into a text editing software like Word and adjust the text size there. If you're using a text program, then you simply adjust the size of the text to a 12 or 14 point, or larger, font size (adjust depending on the font and size you need) and that should do the trick.

When I am on the internet and want to print something, how can I get the print to print out larger in order to read it better? I have a HP Photosmart C4795 printer. Thank you.

There are lots of browsers so I don't know what you are using. Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari are some of the browsers.
Usually the browser has settings for this. Sometimes It's as simple as looking for a setting for font or zoom.
Look for things in the menu such as --settings, tools, options, etc.
Usually the choices will be things like - smallest, smaller, normal, larger, largest. Pick a larger zoom or font and try to re-print.
When you pick the larger size the text on the screen will be bigger, and should also print larger.

How do you get the printing to be larger when you print something?

ALL you have to do is change the fonts from the document that you want to print. Then, you can print the desireded image. Also, there is no DIRECT way of changing the fonts on this printer so the document is the only way to manipulate the image

I have a hp1280 deskjet printer it is print so much slowly

At its fastest, the Deskjet 1280 only prints at 14 pages per minute, and this number decreases if you print in color, use a higher resolution, or use larger than 8.5" x 11" paper.

To increase print speed, try dropping the print resolution from 600x600 (Best) to 300x600 (Fast), and if you are printing something that doesn't have any color, make sure you select black and white in the print properties, rather than color.

Won't print in Color

You have 2 questions.
a) black and white print.
solution:
click on start menu and go to printers and faxes. under printers and faxes right click your printer and go to preferences. under preferences go to advanced tab and click on the button that says more options. Uncheck use black cartridge to print black and white. click apply and then ok .

b) to print to larger scale if depends on what internet browser you are using. for IE7 click on the printer icon and go to print preview and the right most drop down menu suggests "Shrink to fit" change that to 100%.

hope this helps
