How to Export Movie from Final Cut Pro (FCP) to FLV?

After editing your own movies on Final Cut Pro or Final Cut Express, you may want to put them on your website for presenting your introduction or promoting your services/products. For users with the older version of FCP, FCE or iMovie, it is easy to export FLV by choosing File > Export > Using QuickTime Conversion. However, if you could not find Flash FLV as output format from FCP/FCE/iMovie, you may need a FCP to FLV converter to get Flash videos.
Aunsoft Video Converter for Mac is the best FCP to FLV converter for you to handle videos on iMac/MacBook Pro with Snow Leopard or Leopard. The Mac FCP to FLV converter supports loading .3gp, .m4v, .avi, .dv, .flc, .mp4 videos from FCP/FCE/iMovie and converts FCP movies to FLV as short film. Below are the steps to export Final Cut Pro movie to FLV with Aunsoft Video Converter for Mac.
Step 1. Load Final Cut Pro movies to Aunsoft Video Converter for Mac.
After exporting movies from Final Cut Pro, run Aunsoft Video Converter for Mac as the Mac FCP to FLV converter, and click the "Add" button to load FCP short films for conversion.
Step 2. Choose FLV output format.
Click the "Format" option and choose Flash Video > FLV-Flash Video Format(*.flv) as output format. This format is compatible to most machines.

Step 3. Transcode FCP movies to FLV.
Click the "Convert" button under the preview window, and the Mac FCP to FLV converter starts converting Final Cut Pro movies to FLV for playing on webpage.
Tips:
1. After converting Final Cut Pro movies to FLV, you need Flash players to navigate the video playback on webpage. You can use free web players like JW player, Moyea PlayBox player and Flow player to present your short films on website.
2. You can set the video resolution of the FLV videos by clicking the "Settings" before conversion.
3. The above step-by-step guide with Aunsoft Video Converter for Mac also works for the movies exported from Final Cut Express and iMovie. In other words, you can also convert FCE movies to FLV, iMovie videos to FLV on Mac OS X.

I could not get my sylvania netbook to connect to my wifi so i download the update from their website to a SD card then opened on the netbook and it deleted everything on the netbook. how can i restore it...

I do not know why your icons disappeared by running the Download, but your programs are still in the on board ROM memory and what you are missing are your desk top icons. I have tried to duplicate your download problem but so far have not been able. I know that using a SD card will not download a usuable file so I used a thumb drive.

Any way please read the following solution that I wrote to another poster.

If you have deleted the icons for those programs on your desk top, then they may be in your Recycle trash bin. double click on Recycle Bin look for the icon for recorder, right click on recorder and select restore. You really cannot delete the programs from your machine as they are retained in a ROM chip , hard coded into the chip and are loaded each time you cut your machine on. The only thing you can do is delete the icons on the desktop, which are sent to the recycle bin.
To retore the machine to factory settings, there is a small hole just about an inch down from the data plate on the back. Using a pencil point or a straightened paper clip, insert the bject into the hole and hold for about 5 seconds. Your deleted icons are not replaced.
A second method to restore your icon is to click on my computer right click on the recorder, select copy, dismiss my computer, find a blank spot on your desktop and right click on that spot, select paste, and a dos type icon appears as your recorder button. When you cut the machine of and back on the Dos type icon is replaced with a CE type icon
To restore all icons:
You can: If you can click on start, click on run, type desk top into the open space and ok it. your icons should be shown. you will have to copy and paste each one back to your desk top, or select edit and then select select all, then click on file, select send to, and select desk top as short cut. Computer doesn't always recognize web site addresses

In my opinion, you have some type of malware running.
Do this: click on start and run (in Vista, just click on start)
In the little box that opens up, type msconfig.
When that window opens, click on the startup tab in the top of the window and choose disable all in the lower right side.
Restart the machine and see if it is fixed.
If so, you have stuff running that shouldn't be there.
You can go through the process, above, and enable things one at a time to see when it fails again.
First, though, I would scan for viruses using an online site such as www.trendmicro.com and use the housecall online scan.
You can also visit www.superantispyware.com site and download and run that utility.
When the system is clean, you can visit the msconfig and re-enable those programs that you are sure you need on startup.

If this helps, let me know by rating this solution.

Hi,

To send messages from one computer to another download and run this exe on both computers.

You can copy to startup and fiddle around with the settings.
Small app which gets the job done.

For shutting down a remote computer
Source: http://www.tweakxp.com/article36917.aspx
Right click on desktop, create new short-cut.
Type shutdown.exe -i
Click next, type in name for your short-cut e.g. shutdown computers
Click finish.
Run the short-cut you just created. Now you can browse the network for computers to shutdown/reboot etc. or just type in the IP/Name of the computer.
You can even broadcast a message, and schedule the shutdown.
NOTE:  You will only be able to shut down computers that you have admin access on!

Hope this helps. Please rate your feedback!
Thanks,
VJ

If your running xp you probably have a folder with unused icons if not you can always make new short cuts. Just go to programs and the program you want to add short cut to you right click on then go to send to and click add desktop short cut.
