Sounds like motor has blown - fuse in house blew quickly, before the one in the plug had time!

Vax stopped mid vacuuming,as though fuse in plug has blown.checked fuse, lights lit.vax not working.

Most vacuums have thermal protection on the motor that will shut it off if it gets too hot. If you can turn it off, wait 10-15 minutes, and it works when you turn it back on, that's what is going on. Now, the motor shouldn't normally get that hot, so your next challenge is finding out why. Check for any blockages in the air flow or cooling vents, and if the motor also powers something like a beater bar, make certain that it turns relatively freely.

My vacuum keeps blowing the fuse. It's about 8 months old and is running good. I looked over it, all wires and plugs are good.

A fuse blows when the current in it exceeds rated capacity. Obviously, it is happening all the time as different fuses keep going south. That means that the motor of your "running good" vacuum is using excessive current.
It is only 8 months old and still under warranty.

Only other thing you can check is the rating of the fuse and the rating of the vacuum. If it is near or same as fuse then that will cause a problem.

Vax floor steamer is not steaming

First check the fuse in the power point plug, and replace if necessary. If ok, then it is either a loose or disconnected electrical wire, defective on/off switch, or a burnt out heating element.

Why is my VAX 121 blowing my fusebox ?

"Blowing" FusesWhen a fuse blows, replace it with an identical [same Amperage rating] new fuse.

IF the replacement fuse also blows, then that is an indication that there is either a short circuit condition in that circuit, OR you have an overload condition due to too many electricity using devices connected to that circuit, or one that draws too much electrical current [current is measured in Amperes (Amps), or milliamps (thousandths of an Amp)].

The fix" for repeatedly blowing fuses is to troubleshoot the circuit involved, find and identify the fault, properly repair it, and then install another good fuse

Why does my vax rapide not turn on?

The only easy answer would be a bad connection at the plugin receptacle, a bad receptacle, open circuit-breaker or fuse at your electrical panel. Assuming these have all been verified as working
(check by plugging it into a different circuit in the house. If it works then the problem is at the original receptacle and not the vacuum). Then the electrical wiring and components of the vacuum must be checked. This is normally done by a qualified serviceman.

There is no rest button that I am aware of. Make sure the switch is pressed on firmly. The most common problem is a faulty switch, however there are several other possibilities. The vacuum has a simple overload switch that turns off when it is overloaded. Once it has cooled, it will close in again allowing it to work again. This could fail open but it is rare unless it has operated many times previous to not starting now. A more common problem is a broken or open wire. This usually happens at connections and may be burnt open because of a loose connection. Sometimes the start switch on the motor fails or the motor itself fails. Unless you are knowledgeable with working on electrical circuitry the repair should be done by a qualified repairman.

Vax v-060p not powering up

All houshold electrical appliances which are constantly moved about eventually stop working due to fatigue. The most likely cause of your problem is the power cord from the wall outlet.
Replace the power cord then check again to see if it turns on.
Best wishes,
