Question about Nokia 6682 Handheld
Does anyone know of an cell phone technician expert who can manually take the memory chip from a water damaged Nokia 6682 and place it in a working Nokia 6682 to recover all lost data from the water damaged one?
Most electronics will survive (fresh, ie: non-salt) water.
The key is to NOT turn them on until they are FULLY dry.
This may takes days, or weeks even.
I don't think a "professional" would be doing any more for you than what you can do for yourself by cleaning, drying, waiting etc and hoping it comes back to life.
The same thing i was trying once with a water logged phone, Spent most of day removing the pcb, drying then replacing in another phone but all I get is a blank white screen whenever the battery is attached.
Leave me comments if you need furthur assistance

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
