Add fREON bird low

H stands for High Pressure and the L stand for Low Pressure.
The A/C system is split into two sides, a high pressure side and a low pressure side. An AC compressor is basically a pump, so it has to have an intake side (low pressure side) and a discharge side (high pressure side).

Rich, I mistakeny typed the first inquiry incorrectly. Thanks for the original answer. I reposted the question in it's correct form

The small line is your high pressure liquid line unless it is a heat pump running on heat then it is reversed and it does not suppose to be insulated.

Locate high and low side of a/c system on 1995 isuzu trooper

High pressure side is smaller tube than the low pressure side. Also, there should be service points on both sides with caps over them, marked L for low pressure and H for high pressure.

Hello, what is your high side pressure? A bad compressor will show abnormally high low side pressure with abnormally low high side pressure. That 45 low side pressure is low And superheat high. If you high side pressure is normal toma little above normal but the low side remains low you have a restriction in the system, that might be why it's not taking in tne freon. My Kenmore Elite HE5T front loading washer is giving me an F20 (Water inlet problem - no water or insufficient water supply) code. The Drum fills half way up with water in about 5 minutes and then the...

The F20 error deals with the water coming into the tub. The F20 code indicates the control didn't see any water enter the tub.

  1. There is a flow meter that tells the control water is coming into the washer. If the flow meter is faulty the error usually happens quickly.
  2. Near the pressure switch is a clear plastic hose may be kinked or even have a small hole in it. Check the drain line first and then remove the top of the washer to access the pressure switch and pressure hose. With the washer empty remove the hose from the pressure switch located on the right side of the washer and blow through it to clear any debris blocking the pressure hose or air trap.
  3. If this doesn't help then most likely you will need to replace the pressure switch.

I cannot differentiate between the low pressure and high pressure

This is a little A/C 101. Follow the A/C lines. All A/C systems have a high pressure side and a low pressure side. The high pressure side is from the compressor to the condenser coil on the front of the vehicle to the evaporator coil in the dash. At the expansion valve in the evaporator the pressure drops. At the expansion valve the refrigerant changes from a liquid to a gas. This provides the cooling. The low pressure side is from the evaporator back to the compressor. Usually the high pressure lines are smaller than the low pressure (suction) lines.

R134 pressure

do not try to maesure high side pressure - no need.
low side pressure should be about zero ie ambient pressure of the air around us.
if in a partial vacuum, indicates a blockage in sealed system or short of gas.
if pressure well above zero, indicates compressor failure
