SOURCE: TORO Z5000 zero turn mower. right side

it should hold hydralic fluid there should be a resirvour somewhere on the back along with the pump you should be able to check the level there and if you don't get the leak stopped it will lock up the whole drive system.

SOURCE: our woods 1250 zero turn mower will not turn left

check your tire shear pin frist and check your idle pulley too, and belts. also check to see if your unit has cables to the hydro. if so one might have broken. if all looks good, its more likely an axle problem, call your local service center

Troy bilt zero turn mower runs but does not move

Make sure the gears are engaged. There are 2 metal hooks on the rear of the mower, 1 on each side, if they are pulled out the mower is out of gear, make sure to slide them over so they retract back into the mower. If not the problem, sounds like either broken drive belts or the transmission isn't working properly.

Try turning the emergency brake off. If you move the arms in on my bad boy mower with the brake on the mower will die.

I have the same problem. The spring that holds the lever in place is probably broken. That's what my problem was. Look at the lever under the mower. If the spring is broken it will be dangling from the lever.
