Mr bennett does anyone else have an issue with the router losing connection every now and then

I do. i can get wholly annoying. You may need a new or replacement router. Or it could be that your provider is broken and then you will have to bother them, to fix it. It requires a lot of too-ing and fro-ing before you will actually get them to do anything.

you sound like youve covered the basics. are you certain you are using the correct power adapter? might be getting too many V's or mA's. try the firmware upgrade.

Netgear wpn824 v2 loses connection The internet light blinks amber every few minutes and I lose connection to the internet.


if you're online and loses connection every couple of minutes,that most likely be and issue with you ISP. it's intermittent connection issue with the server or might be the modem if it's more than a year.. better is to contact your ISP to check on their end,also to create a work order to investigate and monitor the issue.

Telus router SE567 connection problem


Change the Wireless channel on the router to 9 for best wireless connection and also check if the firmware on your Router is the Latest or not, if not then update it as soon as possible.

I keep losing my network connection with my D-link WBR 2310


Try upgrading the Routers firmware settings, before you do that make sure that you take down the settings , as you will have to resetup your network .

XP PC connects/Vista PC doesn't/Connectivity issues


On the Vista Computer
Goto

Start>Control Panel > Network and internet > Network and Sharing center

On the Left Hand Side Click on Manage Wireless Networks

Remove your network From the List

then

Start > Connect to> Click on ur Network > Click Connect

Two Problems with Linksys WRT55AG


You might want to see if it is a cordless phone if it is interfering with the router? If they are at the same frequencies they can interfere with each causing each other not to work.. I have had that happen to my Linksys phone and Router

Lose connection when laptop comes online


update the latest firmware in the router and then reset and reconfig your router that will fix your problem.and check check if you have any other wireless device operating in the same frequency of the router.. if yes turn it off nad then observe the connection..check it uot and revert back in case of any further issues
