Hi, I just bought the computer and it seems to have a problem with the wireless internett connection. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. The internett boble are on but when you try to diagnose the problem it does not work. To make it work I mus plug the computer into a cable and then it will work for a while but the internett is going like on and of. What should I do , it seems to be a usual problem with this computer??
This may be a problem with your ISP and not your computer. You say the same thing happens when you are hard wired to the Internet via a cable. Get a friend to come over with a laptop and try it on your cable. If it still has problems then it is the ISP and not the computer.
Call your ISP and let them know their service is not working. It could also be the router that is not providing a reliable signal. If that router is supplied by your ISP, have them replace it.

Try installing the touchpad driver from here http://www.helpjet.net/files-Acer-Aspire-4810T.html#ATouchpad
Once you are done restart your Acer and see what happens.
If this doesnt resolve the issue it may be a problem with the hardware in which case you may need a new touchpad. otherwise just use a mouse as a fix either temporarily or if it turns out to be to expensive to fix.
I own the same laptop I had to update the sound drivers but with the updated drivers, the laptop suffered from the 100% CPU usage problem if your not aware your lucky. the easiest solution is to run a 3.5 RCA jack from the headphones out which is right next to the HDMI jack , to the two l and R speaker inputs on the TV. After all of that I found no noticeable difference running VGA out to VGA in on the TVs computers VGA input for computers and then running a 3.5 out of the laptop to a 3.5 input which is next to the VGA in on most newer tv. I love the 4810t and it looks brand new as I always have it attached to the TV. Good luck
Check if your friend has installed anything that starts when the computer boots. Check under Starts->All Programs->Start up.
If you don't see anything there, go to Start->Control Panel->Add/Remove programs. Unistall any programms that you are not using.
If you still cannot find anything there to stop the message from appearing, you can reformat the pc.
i doubt its your unit. if it shows your connected, your connected.wireless routers often loose signal. even if you have a cordless house phone it could easily interupt with your signal also. a lot of times it could be your service provider.
Check the BIOS configuration for the hard disk, if the BIOS does not detect the hard drive then the hard drive is faulty or the disk controller is faulty.
To test the hard drive, remove it and connect it to an USB hard drive adapter and connect it to a working computer's USB port. This computer should detect the hard drive as an external disk drive. If this computer cannot detect it and/or cannot open the folders etc. the the hard drive is faulty.
Then you need to install a new hard drive in the Acer and install Windows, the device drivers and your programs to get the laptop operational again.
whaqt may have happened is that the driver for the wireless adapter may not have installed.
Go to my computer, right click, properties>hardware tab>device mangager and lokk in the list for any yellow exclamation marks, if so this may well be your wireless card, unless you can see it listed in the wireless adapters line.
If you cannot see it, the exclamation mark may be it, this means theres no driver.
If you have not got the driver, try here
When you have installed the driver, restart the pc and your adapter should be found and the driver installed automatically
