Question about Acer Aspire 4520-5582 Notebook
If both laptops have WiFi ... configure them for "Ad Hoc" connection.
One laptop will be the "master" ... the other (or several) can connect to the master. Doesn't matter which is the master.
Another way is via a special USB cable ... from RadioShack ($30)
Another way, if both have internet, is to "Allow Remote Assistance invitations", but this gets complicated and may not be what you want.... Anyway, right-click "My Computer" and select "Allow Remopte Assistance..." in the "Remote" tab...
If you are simply trying to transfer files, you might use: email or a flash drive...
Hope this helps!
