Question about Cell Phones

1 Answer

Won't end a call either with the red button or by flipping the phone. Just stays on the call until I turn the phone off.

Does the red button work - are you able to reject a call with it?

Can you send me the Brand and model of the phone, and approximately how old it is since purchase.

How do you reset a lg phone

Likely the same as most phones: Hold down the (usually red) End Call button until the phone turns off. Then release the button, and hold it down again until the phone comes back on.

You can also remove the battery, then put it back in and hold the red End Call button.

Hi i have a 8220 and red light is blinking on charging. I have checked very possible thing even the charger but cant get around pls help! thanks

Hi,
Please don't worry this is caused because of various reasons. The lights explains what could be the problem

Orange and Yellow lights mean no defects in the mobile.Orange is phone battery is very low.Yellow is for boot up..

Red light means-You have power management problem.
You have to understand why it is being caused..

1)Due to dead battery. The phone will charge but you phone battery will not get charged it acts like it is getting charged.Behind the scene it cant store the charge.
2)Due to charger is not working properly no charge in the battery.

So you have replace this accordingly..

Please try this some time phone booting may be stopped,
This is not a solution when the battery is dead or fully down....

Sometimes The boot cycle of the phone is stopped. You have to start it.Remove the battery and place it again and press the red 'end' button continuously until the red light flashing stays on.Press green button' call' button and hold the red button...Now press these two buttons alternatively until you see hour glass symbol. Now when you see hour glass wait and see the phone booting....

Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

thank you for using fixya have a nice day:-)

How can turn it on again?

The red phone icon on your phone (end call button) is also your power button. Hold the button down and you should be ready to go. If that doesn't work I would suggest calling your carriers technical support line before trying to fix anything yourself. You could void your warrenty.

Bluetooth headset

Put your phone in "Discovery Mode" Most phones can get there by going to Menu/Settings/Tools/Bluetooth. If you don't have Bluetooth option here, your phone probably doesn't have bluetooth capability. Then, on your bluetooth hold down the big button until the blue light stays. If you have a bluetooth that you flip, make sure it is closed first, press down the button until the light appears and then flip the bluetooth open. that should leave the light on. as the light stays on and your phone on discovery mode they should be able to locate each other.
