First, please have a look at the standard MS troubleshooter in case there's something obvious you've overlooked. Go to windows update and do a scan for hardware updates. Then go to the Device Manager (Start>Right click My Computer>Manage) and uninstall the cd drive, restart your computer, and check to see if the drive is correctly recognized. (It will normally be reinstalled when you boot up.) If not, you'll need to repair the registry, so please create a new system restore point, just in case. (And if you want to be careful, Get a free copy of Erunt and make a full backup of the registry.)
Then please see this short post and this MS article to repair the registry so your system can once again correctly detect the cd drive.
Good luck.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

A solution is to block the application itself from going online using the tool available to download from the link below. This worked for me and only blocks Virtual DJ from connecting to the internet.

Keep getting error code 102 connection refused what can i do

Try this >>>>
Open control panel
>> look for Internet Options, now at the top click the "Connections" tab.
Once clicked, near the bottom is a button labled "LAN settings"; click it. Once clicked, on the page that appears, uncheck ALL check-boxes. Click OK twice to get out of all that stuff. Close all your Internet Browser windows. Then try to get on the Internet again. That should take care of it. Good luck

You can access Yahoo Email from any computer with Internet access. If it's an emergency, go to the library - they have free Internet. Otherwise, you might have a browser problem on your computer in which case the computer needs to be fixed.

This is a serious software corruption. This is mainly observed by the activities of a infection or to be more specific, a Worm or a Virus. Try scanning the whole computer with a Anti-Virus Program or try a System Restore.
