my samsung tv was taking about 15-20 minutes for the screen to power up after switch-on now it wont come on at all. it is making a clicking sound as though it is trying to start up

Best guess is filter capacitors in the power supply. Easier to just replace entire board unless you have a cap meter and solder equip. Do a search for the part using model #. Good luck, Russmann.
