Question about Dual Electronics CECT P168 Cellular Phone

F006 Charging Schematics

Having left home without any charger, I realized once overseas how it would be difficult for me to get a compatible charger for mobile CECT (namely Fly-Ying) F006.
I was a offered a Nokia compliant charger that did it for me until the USB-like connector on the phone got broken.

As an alternative, I was wondering if the tiny jack (1,5mm) connector next to USB would be a solution to my recharge needs.

Please advise.

How do I repair the charger portion of the unit without replacing the entire unit

No make and model # makes answering difficult so I'll have to give very general information. Also I'm assuming this is well out of warranty - otherwise call the manufacturer first. Now, when we start without any schematic we trace backwards from where we know the circuit should end. In this case you start at the battery terminals since you're trying to find the charging circuit. It is more difficult today since if there's a microprocessor in the mix it could be controlling when a given line is active, when the charging line is connected to the battery, or not. The charging circuit will be a constant-voltage circuit for Li-Ion batteries ~ 3.7 Volts depending on the battery. If it is Lead-Acid it will probably be 13.8 - 14.0 volts, if Ni-Cd or Ni-MHd then it depends on the size of the battery pack and again will probably be a max voltage of about 1.25V/cell * Number-cells. Once you find the circuit you can test to see if there is any output voltage and current when it is "on" - if it never turns on then the problem is either the circuit is dead or the CPU is not turning it on - if the CPU controls this. If you can find the line from the CPU to the charging circuit see if it ever changes state, if not you could try "forcing" a different state, ie, it the state is always off (usually a 0 Voltage) then try finding the voltage line to the CPU and place that voltage on the CPU to Charger circuit line. If the line is always high (anything from 3.3 V to probably 5V depending on the CPU's power requirement) then try lowering the voltage to a 0 state. This is much more difficult since it may require cutting the line from the CPU to the charger. If either of these gets the charger to work then the problem is with the CPU, if nothing gets the charger to work the problem is the charger.

Whats the best way to charge the bluetooth parrot b250-xt

It doesn't make a difference if you use the car or house charger. When the green light comes on, it's fully charged. If you are having a charging issue, you can try installing a fresh battery. I have been in contact with the overseas supplier of these batteries and am offering them for $20 via PayPal once my shipment comes in. Please contact me at

Does leaving a cell phone charger plugged in to an outlet at home, without having the phone charging in it,drain energy from your home?

Yes. You are right. Here energy is not the criteria. It is always safe to unplug the charger (when not in use) to prevent the damage of a cell phone due to accidental over load of electricity or short circuits. Moreover Chargers do draw power when plugged in, whether or not a device is actually being charged.
If the charger is plugged in someplace easy to access, like right by where you keep your phone, you should unplug it. But if it would be difficult to have to plug it in every time you need to use it, you'll be fine just leaving it plugged in..and.It still uses energy even when not charging. Any electronic device plugged in a socket uses energy whether it is in use or not.

Charging battaries oversea.

The battery chargers that are included with JVC camcorders sold in the U.S. are designed to operate on power from 110 to 240 Volts at 50 or 60 Cycles AC. All that is needed to use the battery charger overseas is a plug adapter to connect into a foreign electrical outlet. These are generally available from a store which carries electrical supplies.
