I'm not sure what the thing was that happened again, but check the drain line for kinks or obstructions and check out the pump. I know you said that you cleaned the pump, but you really should check it out. Remove the hoses from the pump and use a flashlight to look into the ports on the pump. Check the pump impeller. Make sure there are no missing/broken blades and that the impeller will spin freely. If any blades are missing/broken or if you can't get the impeller to spin freely, then the pump is defective. Really sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.

The drain pump will not shut off and door remains locked

Clean the drain pump while the machine is off. There is a small door on the bottom front panel of the machine. Open this. You will see a jar cover like thing that you can unscrew. Unscrew this. A lot of water will gush out.... be careful..... Clean this and put the filter and cap back. If same thing happens again when you run the machine, you will have to replace the drain pump. Chances are, you are trying to run a 50 hertz machine on a 60 hertz line.

Beko washing machine stuck midcylce full of water nothing happening?

Hi ghutton697,

I believe your drain motor is not draining the water. This has to happen before your unit will go to the spin cycle.

Please read the following tip, on how to clean the filter (It might just be an obstruction of some kind)

If this does not help, you might need to replace the drain pump - as it may have become defective.

Kind Regards

* I really hope this solution helped you, if it did please rate it.

I have a drain error

this basicly means you have something either caught in your drain or in your pump first thing to do would be to clean out through the clean out trap small door on lower part of the machine if after you clean this out and put the pump knob back in place and you still have the error then you would have something caught in one of the lines that go froom the pump which is a headache because you have to take the whole front of the machine off and disconnect each hose from the pump and the drain line and find out what is blocking but start with the pump and message me back if you are unable to clean out the pump please call a technicain if you have any further questions please message me back and please remember to rank how this opinion has helped in your appliance situation Thanks again

My Whirlpool washing machine WFS1273AW, has been displaying "clean pump" and F02. I have cleaned the pump and even had a repair man change the pump. However the machine won't move beyond the wash cycle and...

The same thing happened to me and it was because there were socks stuck where the drain pipe attaches to the machine. If you tip your machine on its side and pull the black pipe off from the bottom of the drum you can remove anything which is stuck. Then it just clips back on again with a metal clip.

My machine has a flashing red ligh saying clean pump. how do i do this?

There is a trap before the water pump that you can clean out. You will need to remove the bottom front panel. Once you have done so, the trap is there in front of you. Good luck

My Bosch washing machine is leaving sludge like marks on my clothes. Ran the machine at 90 degrees with soap but no load. Didn't solve the problem. Any ideas?

Make sure the draw is 100% clean inside the draw compartment to if the draw is all clean next thing to cheak is the rubber door seal make sure it is clean all the way round next thing to cheak is the pump at the front of the machine pull down the cover and undo the the pump cover by tuning anti clock wise water will come out when you cheaked it is 100%clean put it back together if you get stuck read manual if all toughs things are clean or bean cleaned. do a 90 again with washer cleaning detergent with you can buy at the super market hope this helped.

Wash machine agitates but won't drain the water -- on any cycle choice. Machine makes noise like something is happening, but water remains.

Yes, the problem is the pump filter which is hidden behind the lower front panel. To access the filter, unscrew three screws at the bottom of the panel and carefully remove the lower front panel. Make sure to unplug the machine. With the panel removed you will see the pump filter. Get a bucket and some towels ready, because when you open the filter, you may get a gallon plus of water coming out. GE failed to put this in the use and care manual for the 6260. But low an behold, GE put an access door and explicit instructions on cleaning the pump filter in the updated 6400.

You may have burned out your washer pump. That is what happened to me. The machine would not drain or spin properly and so I kept pushing the blinking start/pause button to get it going again. Then it finally did not drain at all. I installed a new pump and with the cleaned filter, the machine worked like new. For some, simply cleaning the filter allows the pump to work properly. As the filter gets clogged the pump has to work harder and harder to pump out the water. When this happens the cycle times get extended . One symptom of a clogged filter is the final minute (spin cycle) takes much longer. Obviously this is a "design flaw" that GE "fixed" in the recent version of the 6260.

Here are the symptoms: - Wash cycle seems ok but can not be sure. When complete the rinse commences but am unaware what happens next. This is what I have done Started washing clothes and waited for cycle to end(!) or problems start. Switched off and set program knob to rinse. At this point I select spin and after a while the water starts to empty. When a sufficient amount has emptied I stop the spin (no spinning has began), and set the knob to wash again. This now allows clean water to rinse the clothes and when I think it has rinsed enough I set the knob to off then spin again until all the water has emptied. When the drum is empty the spin cycle should continue but does not. What happens is there is a clunking sound and the activity light goes out again, when it comes back on the machine tries to start the spin again and the sequence is repeated.
