Question about Maytag MDG2300BWW Electric Dryer
My dryer squeeks really loudly. SOunds like bearings. How do I take off the cover to see what is wrong?
Two areas that might squeak in this dryer are the tension pulley next to the motor and the drum support rollers mounted to the interior rear.
The manual below will cover disassembly of your machine to get inside in page 5-1 and 5-2. Other areas of the manual may or may not apply to your machine. Turn off power and gas before opening dryer case. Draw a picture of the belt travel around the pulleys before removing it. Good Luck.
