Question about Hansgrohe Home

1 Answer

Installing a Hansgrohe raindance showerpipe no 27167000, and following the instructions of the related manual, in the picture no 14 one should mount a screw; I couldn't identify that component - there is not even a thread in the hole - nor can't I understand why this is so important (ref. the exclamation mark next to the image). What is the purpose of it and which screw should I search for??? Thanks for your answer.

This is an example of communication failure between the designers and the IPB preparer. It may be necessary to have Hansgrohe explain the discrepancy.

SOURCE: what is the priming?

Prime refers to priming the pump. The error message means that there is air in the system which is preventing the pump from pumping water. To correct this, fill the tank with water, press the water button on the right side, and turn the water/steam knob to open. Allow the water to flow until the stream is steady. Press the water button again and your problem should be fixed

SOURCE: i just bought a white sew ez and am unable to wind

If you look on the top of the machine, there should be a little round metal disk near the far left side. That's the clamper it's talking about, also known as the bobbin winder tension. As for the hole in the bobbin, you can use any of the holes. I'm assuming you're using a metal class 15 bobbin, the plastic class 15 bobbins only have 1 small hole on each end. Both will work with your machine.

How do i install showerhead

REmove old showerhead using two wrenches, one to hold the stem from the wall steady, then twist the head counterclockwise. Use the same wrenches to install the new one, twisting the head clockwise to tighten. But before you put it on, clean the threads on the stem with a rag and wrap teflon plumber's tape around the threads clockwise 4-5 turns. That keeps it from leaking and makes it easy to remove in the future.

Air rain shower head leaking

The most common issue with this type of head is water deposits building up in the spray face. This will cause the unit to express water from the venturi in the center of the spray face as well as other places. If this is the case the best solution is to remove the unit and soak it in CLR for about ten minutes. Then rinse it well and reconnect to the water source. Run water throught the shower head and while running rub the rubber water channels to further break up and clear out the deposits. Then repeat the process at least two more times or until the deposits are cleared out. If you need further help feel free to contact Hansgrohe Technical at 1-800-334-0455.

Slow flowing hansgrohe shower head

First thing to check is the filter screen at the hose connection on the hand shower. If this screen is clean and there is no debris in the flow restriction device inside the handle end you will most likely need to clean the hand shower spray face. You can remove the unit from the hose and soak the spray face in CLR. Follow the instructions on the container for use and dilution. Soak for no more than 10 minutes at a time. After soaking, rinse the unit well and reconnect to the water source. Run water through it and while running rub the rubber spray channels to further clear up any deposits. Repeat the soaking and cleaning process at least two more times to clear out all deposits that may be limiting your performance. If you need more help feel free to contact me at Hansgrohe. 1-800-334-0455. Press 2 for tech and ask for David Scarborough. I'd be happy to help.

Hello david41139,

This is a sign the spray face is getting clogged or slowed by water deposits. When this happens it will slow the water going through the venturi in the head and begin to express water in the areas it would normally draw in air. The first thing to try is to soak the spray face in CLR. Follow the instructions on the container for use of the CLR. It will most likely instruct you to dilute. Then rinse the head well. Reconnect the head and run water through it. While running you will need to rub the rubber water channels in the spray face. Then repeat the process at least two more times to remove all the deposits. If you need any further assistance give me a call at 1-800-334-0455. Press 2 for tech and ask for David. I will be happy to help.

Hansgrohe concealed thermostatic mixer ref no 1537418

check for sediment in your valve body... sometimes sediment can build up particularly in hot water pipes and that can cause the pressure balancing function of the valve to limit total hot water and therefore you cant get it hot enough... here is a link to what I think is the proper valve and the instructions for installing it... you'll want to follow the instructions for flushing and pressure testing... if you have good pressure at the thermo body then you might try adjusting the hot limit stop also covered in the document linked below...

Hope theat helps...
