The remote machine has failed to respond to a fax command from the local machine due to the connection being interrupted.

Number of possible causes, check the phone line, try a different fax number for a start. Is there other fax machines in the office on the same line

Hp 7410Xi Aio fax issue error code 345 :
All possiable cause for Error Fax Transmit/Recive Error as follow:

1.)The remote machine has failed to respond to a fax command from the local machine due to the connection being interrupted. These errors can occur if the phone lines in the area to be faxed are old or there is noise (static on the phone line). Other reasons can include power outages and other power related problems.

OR

2.)The call waiting service can cause this error. The click, heard for an incoming call, is actually a momentary disconnect of the line.

OR

3.)The remote user has pressed the Stop key while the reception was in progress.

OR

4.)Under rare conditions incompatibility between the two machines may cause the remote machine to simply abandon the call.

A Recommend Action To Resolved This Issue

1) Re-attempt the fax reception at a different time when telephone line conditions have improved. Call the telephone provider if line conditions fail to improve.

2)Disable ECM. Errors may still occur, and may result in a degraded image quality on the received page. However, the ability to transmit the entire document will be improved.

This error means :
The remote machine has failed to respond to a fax command from the local machine due to the connection being interrupted.

It can be caused by many things like bad phone line conditions. You can try do disable the error correction mode from the advanced fax menu on the device.

Hope this helps and have a great day!

Changed the fax resolution from "fine" to "standard" using the button on the keyboard.
After this, the page who was not faxable have been transmitted without problem. Regards.

Error 345

That error is very vague, even the manual says it's an internal unit malfunction, and you should remove and reinstall the printhead, clear any paper jams, and cycle the power off and on. When it doesn't help you need a new control PCB and it's more expensive than a new printer.

1 Answer

Receive message 345 and alarm which prevents operation.

Other Canon models "may" be repaired with these instructions also, for example MP370, MP390, etc. Try with your own risk.

Symptoms:
-Grinding noise (very loud)
-Flashes error code ##345

Error code ##345 = "BJ cartridge head cleaning error" -reasons for this are:
-Foreign material or dried ink in head cleaning unit (also known as "purge unit") , or waste ink pump jammed up. Make sure waste ink pump rotates freely, after cleaning. Clean the waste pump-hose too! Waste ink pump is located under head cleaning system.

Short solution:
1.Take apart and wash the ink clogged mechanical parts. Use hot water.
2. Reset waste ink counter

purge unit: HM1-0723-000

see more parts: http://www.e-parts.fr/pictures/uploaded/files/MP_360_370.pdf

I hope this is useful

Hey matt32,

According to information provided by the manufacturer, this error code indicates that there is a potential hardware failure in your PS3's optical drive. Unfortunately, this means that your PS3 may need to be seen by a factory-authorized technician for service and repairs.

For more information, I would strongly suggest contacting Sony directly. You should be able to reach a Sony representative by calling their toll-free hotline at 800-345-SONY (800-345-7669), or by submitting a service request via e-mail at their official support website:

http://www.us.playstation.com/support/ps3

Hope this helps you out.

Sincerely,
Aaron
