Dell xps m140 laptop turned off in mid down load. thought battery or power supply, bought new ones. Now have tested the processor, changed hard drives, memory, STILL NOT EVEN CHARGE LED WHEN PLUGGED IN.
doesn't spell the burned plastic so any hope way to at least the cause of death????
Most likely cause of death: motherboard charging circuit. there isn't a simple way to fix this one, i reccomend you get a new motherboard.
