I HAVElenovo 3000Y500 SERIES LAPTOP BUT WHEN I AM CONNECTING THE CHARGER TO THE LAPTOP THERE IS NO INDICATION IN THE LAPTOP BUT THERE IS LIGHT GLOWING IN THE ADAPTER OF THE LAPTOP

this means you have getting some trouble with battery. open your computer and check for battery or power management in control panel.
check if there it saw nothing then your battery become older and got the newer one.
if helpfull rate it.
