Question about Sony Grand WEGA KF50WE610 50" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
Recently I noticed a dark band on the screen which covers to 10% percent of the screen. You can see the band when viewing either television or a watching a DVD. Is this a sign my lamp needs replacement?
Thanks in advance!
I contacted Sony on the last day of the 2 year mfg. warranty 12/26/07, I explained the entire issue and within five minutes I received a warranty repair number and a promise that the repair facility would call to confirm the date to do the repair, 01/02/08 . The tech called back the same day to ask a couple of questions and confirm, showed up and replaced the OB within an hour. The entire experience was more of an insightful pleasure than a bother. Thanks SONY
