5.8 ghz mulit-handset cordless phone

Hey I bought an extra phone to add on to our cordless set. Well I can't get it to work. I think it is still set up for the old main base. ( I bought the extra main base and extra phone from Ebay).

Are thee any Binatone handsets compatable as extra handset to add to Binatone symphony 3325 unable to get new handsets but main answering machine and handset are still working

with cordless phones the problem is that the hand sets have to be recognized by the base station ( paired) and unless you have the exact hand piece make and model this pairing and recognition will not happen
if you can get 2nd hand units for the 3325 base then the base will accept them ( any number of additions ) but if the hand piece is different it will not work
you you need extra hand pieces then it may be best to consider a new system where you can buy extra phones and chargers

Wanna add vtech5.8 handset to 6.0 (2 phone)

No, they are not compatible. One phone uses the 5.8GHz band to communicate, the other uses the DECT 6.0 protocol. You need two phones using the same scheme.

How can I add a handset

You can add a handset by purchasing an additional one that matches your system. The additional handsets come with a cradle, a power cord and the phone itself. All you have to do is charge it for 24 hours and then plug it in and it will automatically work with your main line.

Will uniden 6.0 handest work with an existing 5.8 system? I have an 5.8 system for about 4 years I think the handset cordless is not holding a charge so I would like to purchase additional cordless sets...

Your 5.8 system utilizes analog transmissions at 5.8 GHz between the base and handset. The DECT is digital at 1.9 GHz. Sorry, but the two systems are totally incompatible.

Xtra handset

You can buy a complete LS6125-2 system for less than $30 on eBay. This is probably less costly than buying a single phone.
