Question about HP ScanJet 5300C Flatbed Scanner
CCFL Lamp needs replacing as it is broken. I have tried HP technical, West coast parts. Chiltern ip, and others but they all say that it is not replaceable even though it plugs into the driver board. They advise buying a new scanner. The scanner itself is about 6yrs old but hardly been used. The manual would help me with the specifications of the lamp so I can replace from a third party source. Any help would be appreciated.
There is one listed here in our Bay Area Craigslist.. that might be a suitable replacement/donor for futur needs.. very inexpensive.. contact asap listings don't last long unless relisted. GL
Also try Pricewatch and see if there is a supplier available.
