What do I do if the fan blades middle broke off ?

I believe you can buy replacements for those at Lowe's or sometimes you can get them at locally owned hardware stores. It just depends if they sell that brand and model of ceiling fan. If not check the company that makes it they will most definately have replacement parts. Of course they will have to ship it to you but if the fan works good the cost of the replacement and the cost of shipping will be much cheaper than buying a whole new fan.

How to fix a wobbly ceilng fan

wobbly cieling fan
1. make sure all mounting screws between the fan and the ceiling are tight. There is probably an electrical box mounted in the cieling that the fan is screwed into. I would turn the fan light on and then keep flipping breakers off, on at a time ,to see which breaker turns off the fan light. leave the fan light breaker off and you can unmount the fan from the cieling electrical box. The electrical box may have several holes in it for mounting screws and prehaps there are some holes left empty in the box that you can put more wood screws into to help keep the electrical box more firmly mounted and that may help lessen the wobble.
Its ok to bend the electrical wiring aside to put more screws in. Just be reasonably gentle with the wiring and then bend it back somewhat to where it was before you started. make sure that wiring does not get pinched between the fan and the electrical box and that all wiring resides inside the box.
#2 This is harder to do. you need to balance the blades for the fan ,similar to how a lawnmower blade is balanced after sharpening and before remounting the lawnmower blade on the mower. also kinda like balancing a car tire. I have a lawnmower blade balancing fixture that i bought at the lawnmower shop, but i dont know if there is a fan blade balancing fixture that you could buy from somewheres. Maybe try google.com,bing.com or ask.com and type into the search box fan blade balancer
or fan blade balancing fixture or fan blade balancing jig.
PLEASE read the directions or SPECIFICATIONS before you buy the fan blade balancer, only to find out that it only fits 9 inch diameter fan blades, and your blade is 2 4or 36 inches long.
The balancer may have to fit a certain diameter hole at the center
of the fan blade. When you finally find out which side of the fan blade is heavy, you have to grind , with an electric grinding wheel, some material off the heavy side of the blade so that it is the same wieght as the light side of the blade.
Try to imagine a cone shaped center[like step drills] like the capital letter V ,only up side down, so that the point is up. ON the underside of the inverted V is a needle tiped post that upside down V can pivot in any direction on. The hole in the middle of a lawnmower blade is centered somewheres on the outside of the inverted V, depending on the diameter of the hole in the lawnmower blade. The heavy side of the mower blade will go down and may touch the level asphault or the table top, depending on where you placed the balancing fixture. THen i would grind off metal until the heavy side can up to be level with the light side of the mower blade and it was considered balanced.
an appliance repair parts store may sell fan balancers, but if the would fit your cieling fan, better ask before you waiste your money on something that wont work for what you want.

Try calling up customer service of the manufacturor of your ceiling fan and ask about repair service for your brand fan.
see what repair service has to say, im sure many others have asked them about wobbling fans.
so they should have all the answers down pat.
Two more thoughts.
1.
.MAKE SURE ALL SCREWS THAT HOLD FAN BLADES ON TO THE HUB ARE THERE AND are TIGHT. one loose fan blade mounting screw or one missing fan blade screw will unbalance the whole thing and cause wobble.
2. the fan motor shaft bearing could be worn out or round or even egg shaped. If this is the cause, the motor must be diaassembled and new fan shaft bearings installed or the fan motor must be replaced.

good luck and have fun!

Staples SPL QW1200 shredder - how to disassemble it to get full access to blades?

remove the bin, remove thr screws that hold the bottom on (to get the cord free) then flip it over so its sitting on top remove the screws around the side walls to the top and remove the top shredder. with the shredder still up side down there are 8 screws around the outside edge (in the 1/4 holes) remove those and you can seprate the housing from the blades and motor. in the one i have the blades in the center are bent and the guides are broke i am looking for replacement parts or another for spare parts good luck i am a automotive tech, and i hate to throw things out just because ond small small part is broke but the hardest thing is finding parts. we live in a world where we are in couraged to reclye but we throw so much away because it is almost imposible to find parts or when you do the replacment parts cost more than a new one. sorry for the rant but i like to see people trying to fix things

Bosch electric hedge trimmer PHS 46G - stops when cord bends, have purchased a new power cord. Have removed all the screws in the body case, and the front handle and sheild, but does not want to break...

The proceedings are as follows: 1. on the PHS 46 G release all Phillips screws. 2. On the underside of the trimmer, remove the metal cover.(4 screws). 3. Slide the scissors form as far as possible to the front , then we see two more small Phillips screws . Loosen these screws too. Now, the entire blade detaches from the ex-center gear. 4. The housing can well be apart!

I HAVE A JUICER MODEL #JE95XL ITS ONE YEAR OLD,I

Go to Lowes, to the cabinet knob dept. Get a cabinet knob that matchs the holes in blade. You can always bend the screw a tiny bit if needed to fit. Put the screws into cabinet knob, and tighten. Cut the heads off and you are ready to go. They have a knob that is stainless steel, just a flat piece across the top, an 2 straight pieces that go down. I think it was $2.97. It gives good grip, and takes the blade right off.

Fan Literally came of AC unit! Please help

Maybe. Shut of power to outsde unit. Remove screws holding the wire shield on top in place. You may need to unhook wires to motor. may or right down where they came from. Turn top upside down after removing fan blade from bottom. Check and make sure blade didn't puncture coil. if the hub is still attached to blade you should be able to slide it back on shaft. try to get it back where screw marked shaft and tighten it back in place . some times it it hard to get screw tight if it is on the motor side but you need it tight. Some times a 1/4 inch extentsion turned backward works . Put a wrench on socket end. If hub is broke off you will need a new blade. Becareful not to bend blade as this will cause it to shake when it runs. If this motor was replace recently the company should fix it for free as it was no tightened correctly.
