Clean first the filter of the water inlet.
and if your a techy check the solenoid valve
"mechanical and Electrical"

also check if there is voltage supply in the connector of the solenoid valve if there is no supply the problem is coming from the relay of mainboard

Crosley washer fills with water than does nothing lid switch is good

Hi - Since you have already confirmed that the door lid strike is in good condition, does the drain pump make a humming noise? If so, there may be a restriction in the drain line or siphoning. Otherwise since it is such a complex unit I would recommend contacting a professional to have either the pump or timer diagnose.

I have an F&P MW612 washing machine that stops at the start of the spin cycle leaving water in the machine. After pushing the pause button, looking inside, closing the lid and restarting I've heard...

Something may have been stuck in the drain pump impeller creating the clanking noise. This is a serious problem that can lead to the burning out of the motor controller module, the machine's "brain". It has been found that a short circuit is imminent on a leaky drain pump which can eventually burn out the motor controller module.

Empty the machine then lay it's front on a padded floor/surface and check the drain pump including the diverter valve where both the drain pump and the recirculation pump connect from. Replace the drain pump if damaged or leaking to avoid further damage to the motor controller module.

I have a Kenmore 600 washermachine it won't spin or rinse. It would fill up with water and go all the way through the cycle until it got to the last rinse cycle and just stop and make a buzzing noise...

hi there the first thing ill tell you is that the washer needs to drain water before it can spin there are only a few factors that prohibit this operation a faulty lid switch secound a blown or blocked water pump being a fisher paykel they are famous for jammed water pumps as they decided when they built the sysyem to turn the water pump upside down this causes a lot of stress on the water pump see if you can lay the hose on the ground and get all the water out i belive the machine will then start to spin dry. in this case it is the water pump and have it replaced its a simple operation if you can order the part fromf/p you simply turn the washer on its side depress the white latch next to the pump turn the pump clockwise till ity release from machine disconnect power supply plug and fit new unit as per reverse

best of luck

sonic boom electronics australia

p.s the buzzing noise is the water pump humming because it can not spin the problem is definitly your water pump have it repplaced and it will work fine

please take the time to rank my reply if your happy with it.

Washer filled with water and then does nothing but make a clicking noise

If it's not spinning, the transmission is bad. If it's just not emptying the water, the pump is clogged or bad.

Unless you can replace the transmission yourself, it would be a better bargain to buy a new washer.

Water not draining

your chicken wish bone may have broken your drain pump- it may have prevented the impeller to spin while the motor was on-not good. you may want to consider changing the drain pump...
