I am just now experiencing this problem - put a DVD in and after a few minutes there's message stating 'wrong disc'. I've only had the player for a couple months, very frustrated. Anyone have an answer to this issue?

I have DVD player hooked to TruTech television and it won't play, but it will play fine, when I hook it to another television in the house.

It just continues to read "Wrong Disc" when hooked to the Trutech television.

I hate this dvd player. It does the same thing! I try to load it and I can hear it spinning, but the door won't open. Certain disc can't be read (even professionally made movies from Blockbuster) and it never can be turned off. How do you make this darn thing work?

This is the 4th dvd player I bought with a problem. Does anyone know of a dvd player that works?!! I have the wrong disc problem now. I have only had the thing for six months. I tried a cleaning dvd, and rebooting, (unplugging etc), nothing. Are any of the portables better? Sick of all this electronic ****. My laptop doesnt work either.

I've had the DVD player for about a year and all of the sudden it started being really loud and saying "Wrong Disc." I took it apart and jiggled things around and it started working again. A few weeks later it happened again...

Screen says loading. Then says (no disc)

There are a lot of reasons why that could happen. Sometimes when a DVD player needs to be cleaned it won't read a disk.Sometimes when you try to play a NTSC disk on a PAL DVD player or visa versa it won't play. Region coding could be another issue. And sometime home burned DVDs won't play in certain players.

Trutech portable DVD player says 'no disc' all the time

You have problem with lease assembly. It may work if you clean it. You may use laser cleaner disk or take it apart and clean the lens with alcohol.

''Wrong Disk'' error

You'll need to check the region code of your player.

Make sure you have no discs in the player, and unplug the unit.
Plug it in and turn it on.
Open, then close the tray (with no disc!)
Press the Setup button, then select Load Setup
Press the Enter
While it it loading, press Menu.
When the box appears with a number, confirm it says 1 (region code 1 = USA). If it doesn't, please change it to 1 using the Up / Down buttons.
Press Enter to accept the change.

Tru tech tt320 dvd player

When I install a disc my monitor indicates "loading" for a few minutes then "no disc" for several before the floating "dvd" appears. Meanwhile, on the remote, except for the "off/on" and "eject" buttons, no other button works. Please copy on your response. Thanks

DVD player not working

It could be that the DVD player has a bad home switch in the dvd player or that it doesn't know that the door is closed. I have run into similar situations with CD Players years ago. Also keep in mind to unplug unit and let sit for 1 minute to let microprocessor reset. Let me know if that helps. Thank you ...Jay

MNever ending loading and says "wrong disc"

I own one of these players and apparently the designers or perhaps the manufacturer did this, but in the TT320, there is a capacitor on the power supply board that is underated, and it seems intentional as they put a 10V part in a 12V power circuit. This capacitor failed because of it not being rated for the circuit properly. So with a bit of soldering skills, I removed the capacitor and found it swollen up and leaking its guts out.... after replacing it with a higher rated capacitor from radioshack ($1.29) it works great and it solved the problem that your are experiencing. Now if you don't have electronics experience find someone that does and its usually that part... because i found every other part in the circuit to be properly done and installed except for that one part.

No valid disc

Hi, Try cleaning the lens. A CD cleaner for PC CD/DVD will also work with DVD players. If problem is not corrected, you may need to seek the services of a qualified professional. Good luck and kind regards.
