Have a similar problem and i'm pretty sure its out of warranty with no recalls that I know of. What engine does it have? sometimes you can tighten up the bolts to stop the leaks at gaskets as they can loosen up due to all the vibration of the engine.Have a similar problem and i'm pretty sure its out of warranty with no recalls that I know of. sounds like it is still overfilled ,, oil is leaking on the back side of the piston .. or may be a blown head gasket and being overfilled was just a coincidence if it is a briggs motor I would be suspect of a head gasket.
Hi there
The tank on that machine is a Husqvarna tank . The part # is 532 15 13-46 and you can get it @ your local Husqvarna dealer. To find a dealer near you just check the link below http://www.husqvarna.com/us/homeowner/support/dealer-locator/ . About any recall on the tank you probably have to contact Husqvarna direct . Use "contact" on the Husqvarna site .
Hope this help
That sounds like the sump gasket is leaking, sometimes the briggs machining at the sump and head areas are a little rough and a bad fit can allow the gasket to blow,if it is leaking it is actually sucking air in rather than pushing oil out while it is running. You would have to drain oil, remove the engine turn it upside down, remove the oil pump cover plate( 3 small screws) pull oil pump rotor and drive shaft out, remove sump bolts, replace gasket and reassemble.Be sure to use a light coat of gasket sealer like black silicone.
Far as I know the warranties are not transferable. Some hydrastatic transmission fluid can be checked by removing the battery and underneath there is a place to put the fluid and to check it. But not all models or makes gives you this option.
