Question about Samsung S85 Digital Camera
There may be something more serious wrong with the camera, but the problem you describe is frequently due to weak/wrong batteries or corrosion on the battery contacts inside the camera. Make sure that your batteries are the correct type for the camera and that they are fully charged. If all seems OK with the batteries, remove them and wipe the camera contacts firmly with a clean dry cloth (heavy corrosion may require cleaning with a wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue that may have fallen into the battery compartment during the cleaning, wipe both ends of the batteries with the cloth, and reinsert them into the camera. This clears the problem about 90% of the time - I hope it works for you.
