Question about Stoves Electric Stove With Heater - Blue
We have a self cleaning oven, which we turned on over the weekend. About 2 hours into the cleaning process, the ignitors on the cooktop started clicking wildly. They wouldn't turn off, so I tripped the circuit breaker and let everything cool down for a few hours. I turned the circuit breaker back on and things seemed to work normally for a day. Now the ignitors don't seem to work at all anymore. Two questions come to mind:
1 -- why would cleaning the oven affect the range top
2 -- what would cause the ignitors to fail after the fact
This is a GE Monogram Professional 36" Range
