The first day I installed the unit the a/c was very loud seems like it wants to blow everything from my living room away I had the tech go check it from the store I purchased it from he said it was normal but I had another type of unit in the same place and it was very quite nothing compared to this.

BLOWERS ARE BALANCED FROM THE FACTORY AND WHEN THEY ARE NEW THEY ARE QUITE BUT AS THEY AGE THEY BECOME DIRTY AND GET LOUDER.ALSO IF SOMETHING HAS HIT THE BLOWER AND CAUSED IT TO BECOME OUT OF BALANCED IT WILL BE LOUDER.
MY SUGGESTION IS TO CHECK IT TO SEE THAT THERE IS NO VISIBLE DAMAGE TO IT. AND IF NOT CLEAN IT. IF YOU NEED INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO ACCESS IT JUST LET ME KNOW.

Hearter temp control was blowing too hot, now only blows cold

Clicking sound you hear is the worn brushes in your blower motor. At this point the blower moter may or may not start with the switch. THe blower motor is faulty so I would change that first, then check for vacuum leaks or faulty selector cable for the heat blend door. It could have came off door side or heater control side.

We have an amana ac. It recently started making a loud noice from the furnace closet which is upstairs. 2 different ac repair companies came out but could not find anything wrong. The line to the outside...

Hello, if the line is freezing there is either a airflow problem or low refrigerant charge. If there is a loud noise most likey the bearings on the motor or the blower wheel is bad and causing a lower amount of air passing over the evaporator coil and thus the freezing of the suction line.

Mod# PTH093A35AC: Unit has quit running. Blower appears to be frozen up. Prior to non-functioning it was making a loud clicking sound while running in heat mode, almost like coils were freezing up....

yes the blower can be replaced / not all that difficult have a screw gun ready though...several screws to gain access.... the unit normally comes as a sealed system (meaning no actually service ports to add freon but can be ported and a tap added to check and add refrigerant to system... these heat pump systems are great when working correctly ,but when it does drop below 20-25 degrees outside they will start to freeze as the defrost cycles in them are normally not very long and the unit cant keep up so in return they will start to freeze up, however if the blower motor started to go out and unit was running it will freeze up on you.... hope this info helps out feel free to repost with anymore questions you may have.....

Amana Air Command 80 SSE gas furnace will not stay running

In the path of the flame on the last burner that starts, there will be a small rod. That rod is the flame sensor. Take a scrub pad and polish it. Also check the electrical connection that goes back to the circuit board. Disconnect any ground wire from the circuit board to furnace cabinet, sand it and replace it.

Woke to a squealing noise Amana Air Command 80

blower bearing can make that noise. reach in to the motor shaft and see if it can spin freely if not than mtr has seized. also try moving it side to side (not in and out of mtr ) if there is play bearings are going out. also check blower wheel blades make sure they are tight.

Need to know what size Blower motor I need for and Amana SSE 80 furnace.

The blower size is selected based on the details of your home. The size of the motor must match the tonnage of the A/C. The tonnage of the A/C will be determined with a heat gain/loss calculation.I believe there are at least 2 options for this furnace 3 Ton, and 4Ton.
