Power off printer, then press and hold buttons while powering on, if it doesnn't reset, then unplug it and press and hold buttons while plugging it in, please tell us if the machine even tries to reset.

# and 3 Partial Reset

# and 6 Semi-Full Reset

# and 9 Full Reset

A Full Reset will clear any stored information in the printer, speed dials, etc, so always start with a partial reset and work your way up.

Issue The product displays a '0x ... ' error message. The exact text of the error varies by product, but it is usually preceded by the word 'Error .' Important: If your error message includes the words 'ink system failure ,' check your cartridges before reading this document. If you use any of the following cartridges,Cartridges 564, 364, 178, 862, or 920

  1. Without turning off the product, disconnect the USB cable from the rear of the product. NOTE: The USB cable connects to the port on the back of the product. The port is labeled with the USB icon (c01424575.gif ). Figure 2: Example USB connection (your product might not look exactly the same as this example)
  2. Remove the cartridges from the product.
  3. Wait for the 'Insert Cartridges ' message to display on the control panel.
  4. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the product.
  5. Wait 60 seconds.
  6. Reconnect the power cord. If the product does not automatically turn on, press the Power button ( ).
  7. Reinsert the cartridges, and then close any open doors on the product.
  8. If you receive a prompt to print a calibration page, do so.
  9. Reconnect the USB cable to the rear of the product, and then try printing again.

All the lights on the buttons flashing with error message


Please perform the following steps:

* Take the cartridges out of the unit. Dis connect the unit from the computer.
* Unplug the power cord from the back of the unit.
* Press OK and Cancel buttons together while connecting the power cord back to the unit.
* Now turn on the unit and verify the result.

Getting error 0xd0620230. Could you help


I managed to track down some information that may be able to help you. Power off your printer, then press &hold buttons while powering on. If it doesnt reset then unplug it & press & hold buttons while plugging it in.
# & 3 Partial reset
# & 6 Semi full reset
# & 9 Full reset
A full reset will clear any stored information in th printer, speed dials ect. So always start with a partial reset and work your way up.

Hp printer 5610 problem Error: 0xd0620230


Hi, 


Please follow the follwoing steps, 

1) unplug the power cord at the both ends from the printer and wall outlet. connect tto wall out let directly dont connect to printer.
2)Press and hold # and 6 while reconnecting the power cord to the product hold for 1 min after plugging the power cord, and then release both buttons, this should resolve the issue.

Error Code problem


My mother's printer had a similar problem, I was able to find this solution on the HP site.

Disconnect the USB cable from the back of the printer, but leave the printer turned on.

Open the cover of the printer and remove the print cartridges.

Close the cover and wait for the Insert Ink Cartridges message to display.

Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer and wait for one minute.

Reconnect the power cord. If the printer does not automatically turn on, press the Power button.

Open the cover and reinsert the print cartridges.

Close the cover. If prompted, print a calibration page.

Reconnect the USB cable, and try to print a print job from the computer.
