The key is to not use the dishwasher as a garbage grinder.
I suggest that you witness the volume of water being discharged from the machine. If low volume, look inside for plugged screens.
Also, be sure to remove all food particles from the sprayer tips, which is not an easy task, get each and every piece, run machine and check again. then quit putting dirty plates in the machine, quick rinse = seriously better cleaning, and less unit maintenance.
