1995 dodge van stalls. Then will restart later. Seems like an ignition shut off?

It could be an overheading situation with the ignitor coil or the spark arrestor. I have seen this on Chevy Vans as well.

You won't see smoke, as it will just overheat internally and create a break in the electric connections.

I have a cd/radio player from a 200 dodge van, and I want to put it in my 1998 Ram truck ?

If the radios do not have the same connections on them, you can buy a wiring harness from a car stereo dealer in your area. If you are lucky, the radios will have the same connectors, and the one radio will just plug into the other vehicle and work fine. cd-radio-player-from-200-dodge-van-want-21syibu3fgwpdxocjnkpw0ib-3-0.jpg cd-radio-player-from-200-dodge-van-want-21syibu3fgwpdxocjnkpw0ib-3-1.jpg cd-radio-player-from-200-dodge-van-want-21syibu3fgwpdxocjnkpw0ib-3-2.jpg

I need detailed instructions on how to gain access to and remove the factory AM/FM/Cassette radio unit from my 2005 Dodge RAM 1500 2WD.

The bezel surounding the stereo (heater controld, ect) is only held on by spring clips, I used a screwdriver at the bottom to pull far enoughto get a finger hold than a short sharp **** and work my way around. After the bezel there are only 4 screws holding the seteo mount and ti pulls out the front

You most likely need a new radio. They go bad all the time in the Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep. Don't know how many of them I have replaced.
