Question about Dell Inspiron 1520 Motherboard
With AC plugged in and a new battery, the computer begins to turn on then shuts off within seconds. It won't boot. Nothing on the screen.
When this happened initially I figured it was a bad battery. It is doing the same thing with a new battery.
The AC light shows power. When the AC is not connected there is nothing, so I know the computer is getting power when it is plugged in.
May be your motherboard. Uninstall your ram memory units and see what it does. Their under the laptop behind small cover that you need to unscrew. If not very tech savvy, then i suggest taking it to the nearest (and chapest) computer shop for diagnostic.
