My tripod points slightly downwards when the camera is attached and I don’t seem able to fix it. The spirit level says it is straight.

Do you have a heavy lens on the camera body? You might have to compensate for tilt by adjusting tripod. Heavier duty tripod might help.

Repair - How can I fix a broken lens/AF/MF?

If you have another lens, try that on the camera to determine if the damage is the lens or the camera. If the lens is damaged, just buy a new one, I would not trust the elements to focus true on a lens that has had an impact severe enough to cause this problem. As this is the standard lens that ships with most Canon Packages, you can likely find a cheap one online.

Hi My Nikon D5100 camera giving a sin of Autoexposure error. Contact a Nikon authorized representative message after it's drooped from my tripod on the deck floor (Wooden Floor). The Nikon55-300mm

There is no way to really answer this question as the camera was dropped. If it was dropped with the lens, then the problem could be either in the body or the lens (or both). If you have another lens try it and see if you get the same result. Otherwise you are probably going to have to take it to the shop or send it to Nikon

Nikkor 55-200 stuck

You could take it apart, but would you be able to put it back together? Do you have a lens collimator and other gear needed to ensure proper alignment? If you don't have the proper tools, leave the job to a trained professional (or replace the lens).

My camera fell in the sand I don't know if the sand got stuck in it & I don't know if that is what is causing the problem with the lenses not opening

is it notifieing you that there is a lens eror? or does it just not turn on? This type of problem you won't be able to fix yourself, and don't try to either! You will need to contact Kodak and tell them there is a lens eror (don't give details that you shouldn't be giving), hopefully they will be willing to fix it for you or replace with refurb.

The camera fell on the pavement and now won't turn it worth fixing

No point-and-shoot consumer camera is worth fixing due to user error or accident. Best bet would be to buy another one or see if you can get Canon to replace the camera. Don't tell them you dropped it and hope for the best.

Sorry! And I hope this helps.

I was using my camera on a tripod, and then it broke, and my camera hit the counter, then fell onto the hard floor. I thought it was okay, and i picked it up. When I went to take more pictures, it wasn't...

The kit lens that came with your camera is quite cheap. Around £50.
Look for a replacement as it sounds like it is mis-alligned and the focus motor has broken.
You can then use the broken lens to tinker with.

I dropped my kodak z915 camera while taking a picture. Now the lens is stuck and it will turn on and turn off quickly. how do I fix it?

It appears you've knocked the camera lens barrel out of it's guides. On the outer rim of the lens barrel are small channels which match with metal pins sticking out of the barrel guide (the part of the camera where the lens slides into on switch off) I've seen people tell others on the Net to bash the camera with lens down on a hard surface. PLEASE, PLEASE don't do that. It may work once in a thousand tries but it will more than likely make the problem worse and even snap the metal pins off or scar the barrel for good.

I'm afraid it sounds like a definite trip to the repair shop. Its certainlý not something you should attempt yourself unless you feel confident you can handle extremely complicated and extremely fiddly work. I purchased probably 20 broken cameras to work on before even attempting opening a customers camera and of course they are all different. Your camera requirers a complete pulldown as the lens is the last item to be extracted. I pulled apart over 50 lenses and then got them reassembled before daring to do the same to a customers and fell confident about it. So your camera deserves a good tech who knows his stuff. I always worked under the rule "if it's not fixed you don't pay" but I doubt if there's too many around anymore. Maybe that's why I'm not dring a Ferrari.

Dropped the lens, the focus ring won`t move

You can send it to the canon-service but i think it will be cheaper if you buy a new or used one.
