I will recommend a Microsoft web cam ..there are cheap enough and you can never be wrong with them ..cause if you use windows of any kind...you would not even need a software cd ..cause they are updating and installing automatically and they all got a great resolution and colors
ex:http://shopping.yahoo.com/s:Webcams:4168-Brand=Microsoft:04-Price=16.45_34.48;_ylt=AslDFh7X284j_LhYqQSoCPAHmcsE?y=ng
anyway its just an example ..there are a lot of great brands..I was just delighted by the performances on the given price ... but, like I said...there are a lot of other brands cheaper and with pretty good performances...all ya have to keep in mind to have lens big enough ...resolution and colors ...

Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

How to begin using webcam

On Windows 7 and Windows 8 you can usually just plug in the webcam and wait a few seconds for Windows to automatically install basic/generic "driver" software which allows the webcam to work. You can check if the webcam is recognised and installed by going to Control Panel/Device Manager. In the Device Manager window locate and click on "Imaging Devices" to see your webcam listed. If there's a yellow exclamation point (!) or nothing listed under Imaging Devices then the webcam is not installed. In this case unplug the webcam, wait a few seconds, then plug it back in and see what happens.
With some webcams you must install software and drivers BEFORE you plug the webcam in. In that case, unplug the webcam then install drivers from a CD included with the webcam or download the drivers from the maker's website and install them. Make sure to choose the driver version specified as compatible with your version of Windows. After installing the drivers, restart the computer and wait for it to boot up fully, then plug in the webcam and see if it works.
One last possibility is that your webcam is too old to work with newer Windows versions. For example, we have an old Kodak DVC325 webcam which worked OK in Windows 98, ME, and Windows XP with SP1 and SP2, but it does NOT work in Windows XP with SP3 or any newer Windows version. Too bad, really, because it's a darn good little webcam!

Compatible LCD's for my Toshiba Tecra?

The only way I know is to do research on the computer you have, find the part number of the screen, then do a search of that number and see what other laptops pop up. It is a long shot but it is the only way I know to solve that issue. Happy hunting.

Life cam is not responding to use with skype.my lapyop has widows 7

You need to look on the webcam itself and find the model number. Then go to the link below and download the most up to date driver and install.

There is the possibility that the camera will never work. If it is USB 1.0/1.1 it may not be compatible with newer hardware/software systems. I have run into that issue with MS webcams in the past, and unfortunately there is nothing that you can do about it.

What webcam compatible with window 7 on an emachine

Any webcam can be available for use with Windows 7. A webcam is just an imaging device so the webcam itself is fine. However, if the webcam's manufacturer neglected to update their drivers for Windows 7, then you may likely run into problems.

I can't say for certain whether the webcam(s) you are interested in will work with Windows 7, you will have to look look on the manufacturer's website to see if it has Windows 7 compatibility. If you still aren't sure which webcam to go with, try Logitech or Microsoft. They've updated all their drivers to work with Windows 7.
