The fan moves, turns back and forth, but the blower motor failed. Bad motor, not designed to last long.
Need to complain to lasko for better warranty. They want you to buy new again and again, money, money.

They are inside. First I would completely thaw both sections out, add an external fan blowing in. This will remove any moister that is frozen around the fans. While this is happening clean the condenser and when you start it up check the condenser fan.

Where is th cooling fan located on model 60vs810

It likely has more than one, the main fan should be right at the lamp inside and another should be on the digital board, most of these have at least two fans, got some issue?

This a/c fan motor goes thump thump in low speed, while high speed seems to work ok. I tightened the fan belt but still the same

Check the bearings. check the belt and if it has any craks on the inside or is missing and pieces it needs to be replaced. But it kind of sounds like a bearing failure to me Soin the motor shaft as well as the fan shaft and see what you get .. Hope this helps Jon

Well a laptop is one fragile thing when it comes to Overheating...
You said it yourself, the fan is not working, there is your problem !

If the laptop warms up too much, some electronic inside will malfunction (this is what you see now) and eventually fry !
So stop using it and get it fixed.

No power in surround sound system(DVD/subwoofer)

The key could be the word "move".
Electrical items can get knocked moving and something might have become loose or damaged inside the sub. So check it out. Inside too!
