If you have a whirlpool dryer with the lint filter that comes out of the top cover you would need belt #341241, Whirlpool Dryer Drive Belt 341241
That kit looks like a front-lint package...probably contains a #66157 belt. Whirlpool Dryer Drive Belt 661570V

Was drying cloth and just stop working, the element comes on but no running of drum

Most electric dryers are 220V and are essentially 2 -110V circuits.. You should have either 2 circuit breakers or two fuses supplying the power to the dryer . One is probably tripped or blown. Either reset the breaker or replace the defective fuse and you should be in bussiness!

Please, can you tell me how to tighten the belt on an Inglis dryer model J073500

Sorry for the troubles but you cant tighten the belts on those or any dryer for that matter. Here is the problem your belt is worn out and that's why it is loose and if you have replaced it and its loose you are installing the belt incorrectly around the idler pulley or have the wrong belt or your idler pulley is worn out. I hope this helps solve the issue your having and for instructions on installing the belt go to youtube and type in whirlpool dryer drum belt installation they will show you the correct way to do it and whirlpool builds your model dryer.

My dryer is making a loud clunking sound with each rotation. When I look in the drum on the back center of it I see about 6 rivet that seem to be connecting the drum to something in the back. The holes...

It could be that your rollers are wore out and let the drum fall down. If you stick your hands inside of the drum can you lift it up with your hands like maybe the drum is down lower then it should be? And do this while not running of course. lol See if there is any slop in the drum with your hand lifting up and down on the drum. See if you can also pull it forward any.

How to install a belt on a Whirlpool dryer model LEW0050PQ?

The tech I paid to replace the belt opened the case from the top and the back, and pulled the drum back away from the front, keeping the drum attached to the back panel. This exposed the motor and the broken belt, which had been cut by the motor drive wheel, probably because the drum was too heavy. Don't you just love renters?
