Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

I want to delete all personal information from a Motorola V3 - especially photos. How do I do this - I would like to delete them altogether, not one by one - the file is too big for this.

If this is you situation, then you may be interested in performing a master reset (or “hard reset”) on your phone. The master reset will effectively restore your phone back to the factory condition, inclusive of all settings. Be warned, any data that you have not backed up, photos you have not transferred, calendar settings, or messages you have not saved will be lost! Make sure you do this first, if possible!

Here is how you perform a Master Reset on the Motorola RAZR V3:
1. Open your phone up and go to “Settings”
2. Next go to the selection for “Initial Setup”
3. Next go to the selection for “Master Clear”
4. Then select to confirm the option.
5. Now enter the security code which should be “000000”
6. Finally press select or ok and the phone will reset itself to the factory condition

Hook the phone up to your computer... go to start--my computer-- the phone should be in there as a drive letter. navigate to the folder that contains your photos and select one... hit control A at the same time.. that will select them all. hit the delete key and choose yes... do this with all the other files you wish to delete. DO NOT delete any files you don't recognize as they may be system files.

there should also be a setting in the menu to restore your phone to factory settings which essentially erases everything except the system files

please take a moment to rate this solution thanks

Lost unlock code

Depending on how many modifications, hacks, or customizations that you perform on your Motorola RAZR V3 phone, there may be situations where the phone becomes unusable or completely locks up. I have had visitors to the site report not being able to delete ring tones, text messages, or have other strange behaviors with their Motorola RAZR V3 phone.

Congratulation you have performed a “hard reset”, “hard reboot”, or “master reset” on your Motorola V3 RAZR and it should return to normal operating mode!

Grapics, songs ,videos and voicemails deleted whats up?

The following is from the Razr V3 manual: Master Clear - Clear all user settings and entries except SIM card information, erase all downloaded pictures and sound files, reset all options except unlock code, security code, and lifetime timer. Caution: Master clear erases all user-entered information (including phonebook and datebook entries) and user-downloaded content (including photos and sounds) stored in your phone's memory. After you erase the information you cannot recover it.

Hope this answers your question.

Power down

1> Change battery and see what happens in 10 minutes 2> Change motorola adaptor 3> Check if any bluetooth or any similar programms are always on. If you are not sure put back the factory settings. I don't think any personal data to be deleted. 4> Try to delete some unwanted data. 5> Worst scenario >>> Your motorola needs a mosterpack reflash program. TELL ME WHAT HAPPENS
