Question about Audio Players & Recorders
I have a Akai GX-635D it don't sound to good I clean the head what can I do to fix it so it could sound better . Also I have Teac EE X300R and it play's but it stop when it get halfway on the tape and it come a Full Stop can you tell me what can I do to fix it. I want to Thank you for Technical Support... Do you know there I could take him to fix in FLorida around jacksonville or Orlando area. I live in between Jackson and Orlando.

Trace the wires from the head to the amp section. Put your finger on where they join (during playback) and see if you can get a buzz. If you can't on either channel, look for something that might be common to both channels. Either a switch, or a pre-amp IC, as being the cause of the fault.
