Question about RCA M4008 MP3 Player

1 Answer

RCA MP3 player, Opal, M4008. I just formatted it

RCA MP3 player, Opal, M4008. I just formatted it and need to download per previous e-mail in 2008. It referred me to rcaaudiovideo.ccom/downloads/opal_fwutility_v2.3.0.exe. I did this last year but I'm unable to locate that site. Was processing building data bases then just shuts off when I had the trouble before.

My RCA Opal M4008 8GB MP3 Player has quit working

There might be an issue with the firmware that is currently on the device. Sometimes these files get corrupted.

Download the firmware update from here:
http://voxrightnow.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1416

Follow the instructions to install the firmware on your device. Be sure to back up any important media on your player in case the firmware reflash wipes it out.

Error??

Try using this it worked for my m4002a. It's the firmware update software.

http://download.rcaaudiovideo.com/downloads/autoupdater.exe

After downloading that just follow the instructions that pop-up with the program.

Mine wouldn't do anything before i tried this and afterwards it's been working without a problem.
