It's in protect mode. If you have a reset button, press it, it should be next to the SRC button(very small hole, need a toothpick to press) if it works you're ok. if not unplug speakers one at a time to see if you have a short. good luck

I just installed a Kenwood KDC-138 in my car and it seems to be INSANELY picky about the CD's that it plays. I'm constantly getting the E-04 error in spite of the fact that I put in a CD that is totally clean. I don't get it. I tried putting in a laser CD cleaner and I got the error in spite of the fact that it was suppossed to play like a regular CD and I've cleaned all my CD's but nothing seems to work. Here's the thing. It played CD's when I first got it! It only started getting picky after the 5th one went in and now the first five that I used won't play anymore. I don't know what to do. Help!

I installed a KDC-138 in my 1988 supra, and I can't figure out how to hook the antenna in to it.. I have an amplifier for my subs, hooked up to it as well..there aren't any extra hookups for a car antenna. Anybody know how?
