My DSC-T10 Sony Digital Camera fell down and now the new pictures taken are coming Blurry (hazy). My old pictures in the memory stick shows perfect. Please advise what could have happened.

Hi,

Based on the information you've provided, it seems that the Lens Mechanism of the Camera is damaged when it fell down. The Lens of the Camera is not focusing properly while capturing the images. As the issue is with the lens mechanism, the previously captured images are displaying normally. I suggest that you try resetting the Camera and check if the issue can be resolved.

Performing a manual power reset

Turn off the camera.

Remove the battery pack.

Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.

Allow the camera to remain without power for 60 seconds.

Reinsert the battery pack.

Turn on the camera.

To reset the Camera back to factory default, select the INITIALIZE Option from the SET UP1 Menu of the Camera to OK.This will set the user defined settings back to factory default. The images and videos will not get deleted.

If the issue persists, service may be required.

My Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-S85 Digital Camera wont switch off. I can turn it back off but it comes on again.

I had exactly the same problem. I checked the shutter swithch but it was working correctly so it was just melfunctioning of software? I played around, taking video in different resolutions etc and eventually it came back to normal. If you can not charge the battery, use rubber band(s) hitching it between lens and power switch, snug the switch stay in pushed position. You then should be able to charge the battery to play the camera. Good luck.

use a pebcil eraser and rub the terminals of the battery and the camera ensuring that you do not leave any runner debris inside camera invert it when you rub the terminals so the rubbush falls out

I have a sony DSC-W170. It was dropped and now

I had exactly the same problem with my Sony Cyber_Shot. Here is what I did and the problem was fixed. I cleaned around the lense. While I turned the camera off, I pressed down the lense very softly (some up and down motion). After a couple of times, the lense retracted almost completely. Then I pressed a little harder until the lense retracted 100% as normal times. I turned it on everything was back to normal. If the lense does not have mechanical problem, you should be able to do what I did.
If there is no mechanical problem, most likly some dirt got on the sides of the lense while it was open. Try keep it very clean always.

Good luck;

Sony cyber shot dsc-n2

There could be two things causing this problem.

1- some dirt somehow got on the outside of side of the lense. So the lense could not fully retract or open out. As a result you can take any picture. If the lense comes out even a little bit, try to pull it out NOT too hard a few times. If it does not retract, turn the camera off and push the lense in (up and down) NOT too hard foe a few times. If the camera opened up 100% or retracted 100%, your camera should be back to normal.

2- If you dropped the camera, some mechanical part of the lense is broken or dislocated or the cable may have come loose. In this case you need to take out the lense from the camera and inpect it for broken pieces or loose cable. clean the outside of the lense and push the lense in and out a few times. Put the lense back on and your camera would be back to normal.

Good luck!!!!!!

My dell printer wont turn back

Power down the computer and the printer. Disconnect the printer cable from the computer. Disconnect the power cable on the printer for 30 seconds or so. Without connecting the printer back up to the computer, turn the computer back on as you normally would. It may come back to the screen that asks you if you want to start windows normally or in safe mode. Start windows normally if you do not know how it got to that point. Once windows is started then go back and go through your shutdown procedure and let the computer power down completely. Now reconnect the power to the printer, but not the cable to the computer. The printer should come back on. If it does not come back on standing alone not hooked to your computer then you have a power problem. If it does come back on (powers up). Then turn it back off and reconnect your printer cable back to the computer. Turn the printer back on first, then power your computer back on like before and let it cycle on until you get to your desktop. By this point everything should be on. Let me know how it goes ,but I believe by going through the cycling on and off of both units you'll get back to normal operation. From your posted problem this is the best solution I can give you. God bless.

Sony cybershot DSC-W50 lens problen

thats normal.
it just doesn't have enough power to bring the lense back in.
once you charge your battery and turn it on the lense will automatically come back in and then out for you to take a picture.

Flash settings Sony DSC-H7

I had the same problem with my DSC-H9. The flash setting is set off when in BURST record mode. Go into MENU, scroll down to REC Mode, change it back to NORMAL.

Now go shoot someone or something... with your camera of course!!
