Question about Canon PowerShot G3 Digital Camera
The LCD monitor on our G2 is blank when we attempt to use it. We've tried pressing the display button, recharging the battery, taking the battery out and replacing it, etc. This happened in a matter of minutes. We were using the camera with the screen on and taking photos. We turned everything off and perhaps 10 minutes later when we went to take more photos the screen remained blank. Is the LCD feature totally kaput? (We can still take photos, but can't view while taking photos or in the playback mode). Any suggestions would be great.
yeah i have the same problem on a G3
Canon would have to fix this for you. The fault may be the screen itself, or the LCD viewfinder drive IC on the camera's circuit board. In this case they will replace the circuit board.
