Question about Coleman Mach 15 Air Conditioner

Coleman Mach AC drops condensation when shut off

I think it's the drain line or something, but I cant find where it's pooling up at... We only stay in dry climates, so I know it's not a high humidity issue.

Your AC's drain port could be on the opposite corner from where the water is building up. Your vehicle absolutely has to be level, this pertains to the refridgerator also. Good luck, my friend, Dana

My coleman rv ac unit is dripping condensation inside the camper, what is causing that?

It is possible that the drain hole on condensate pan is plugged and causing water to over flow pan. Remove cover from unit and check drain line.Clean coils andpan as best you can and clear drain hole. Add a small amount of bleach to water in drain pan. This will kill any algea or bacteria that may be growing in condensate water and plugging the drain. Thank you

Condensate accumulates on the passenger side floor board when running the AC. The AC runs cold, and when we park the TC, there is no condensate pool on the ground like you would expect to see from other...

The drain for the evaporator is stopped up,use compressed air, like a air tank and a blow gun.The drain is directly below where the ac lines go into the firewall. If this was at all helpful, please rate, thank you.

I have a coleman Mach rooftop unit & want to connect drain tubing to carry condensate away. Is there a small drip pan with a tubing conncetion for this?

If all you want to do is re-route condensation dripping off the roof, and it's a rubber roof, one easy way is to buy a caulking tube of "Dicor" self leveling sealant for rubber roofs from RV dealer, and run a 1/4"-3/8" bead across roof from AC to wherever you want it to go, and let it cure for a couple of hours. Nobody sees it, and a tube is about $10 max.

Coleman 3 ton ac unit should condenser fan push or pull air

condenser fans typically 'pull' air (from around the unit) across the 'hot condenser coil' - and discharges it away from the unit.

RVP 8000 Series Compressor wont stay running.

Try shutting everything else off temporarily that would draw any hydro in the unit, or even shut off all breakers except AC, and see what happens. See if it runs longer with everything else off. Double check nothing else on same circuit as your AC, and also confirm that 12/2 & not 14/2 cable size used for AC.

Where are the drainage hoses located on a 2005 coleman rv ac

many times the pan of the evaporator in intergral with the drainage. You need to pull the cover and see which way the pan is pitched you should be able to trace it that way.

the fan motor bearings need lub....the shaft has a tiny access hole to put some oil into. because the fan shaft is slowing down, it is putting more strain on the voltage current, and eventually the internal breaker shuts down the ac........plus your condenser is not getting enough air accross it, compressor heats up, and it too will shut the unit down......older units have to be oiled every year, and eventually it too will fail, and a new blower motor assembly is needed or replace the ac unit.....blower motor units are around $130....now you install it or pay to have it done at around another $150 labor,,,,,try yourself, if it fails then call the tech........let me know ..ray..yyzazz@ao.com
