There's a lot of things that could be wrong. Such as your derailleur allignment, chain stretch, cable tension not right. Check all those things.

Notchy gear change on my daewoo lanos

Hi GJ, If the box is auto check the oil level in the box. You should do that with the park brake fully employed and the engine at idle speed with the selector in neutral. If the box is manual check the clutch adjustment, it should take about two and a half inches up from the floor. If the notchy change is only on one gear you may have a synchromesh cone problem and that means a box rebuild. Regards John

2000 A4: notchy gear change when the engine is hot

Check the gearbox oil - has this been changed (with the wrong grade) just before the problem started ? May also be too little oil, from a small leak - which will get very thin when then inevitably overheating. Best to change the gearbox oil, note if lots of sludge or debris comes out (or is attached to the drain plug). If oil is the problem, total siezure may be just down the road.

My table saw will turn on, but sounds very loud

Possibly bearing wear, or the blade rubbing against the guard/housing. Unplug the saw and spin the blade slowly by hand, if it feels notchy then I would suggest bearing wear. if it only seems to feel notchy in places then it could also be damaged gears.

Hi, I have a 1991 Suzuki JLX Vitara with the Front Right hub is locked into 4WD and I can seem to unlock it and the gearbox of late feels notchy, sometimes difficult to change into gear

Try hammering the front right hub with a wood or a rubber hammer while slowly reversing the vehicle, and keep on unlocking the hub while doing this.
spray it with lubrication first
yes, you need to change the gear oil in your gear box
Have your clutch re adjusted, it may be worn out , that's why you are having a hard time changing gears or have it bleed to keep the air out if you are using hydraulic.
If you dont hear any noise in your gear box while driving, its nothing serious, worst thing could be replacing your clutch lining and pressure plate.
