Tv repair when the tv has been on for about an hour, the fan starts to get loud.  It's not constant but gets annoyingly  loud.  I'm afraid that the fan or a motor will burn up.

*******oops that was me!!!!*************
I would reccomend replacing the fan or cleaning+lubricating it. You can find a "precision oiler" at a local hardware store. Its like a small plastic tubs with a skinny needle at the end. Its very handy in cases like this. Use that oiler to squirt a little bit of oil into the shaft that turns the fan at the moto ritself. You may have to take the tv apart depending on what model it is. If lubing it and cleaning off all the dust doesen't help you will need to replace the fan.

My computer runs constantly its loud and annoying

I assume you mean the cooling fan on the CPU, this model uses a smart fan technology, it is meant to spin up faster to provide cooling. If is is doing tis constantly, it means the CPU is not getting adequate cooling (overheating), to check this, remove the side panel, clean all the dust and debris build up from the cooling fan and see if that helps

TV has started to make a really loud humming noise, then sounds like a siren noise after you turn it off and now it has started to turn off by itself. Thinking maybe a fan? Worried it may cost more to have...

It could be 1 of 2 fans (fans are around $30.00 each) or more likely it is the color wheel beginning to fail. Color wheel will cost around $180.00-200.00, plus labor. I would recommend calling 1-800-samsung to find the nearest service center. Part should take an hour to an hour and a half to complete repair.

The picture is pink, that would point more toward the color wheel, and you can see the fan through the vents in the back and you can go from there. It sounds more like the color wheel since you have a picture malfunction.

The fan in the tv is too loud.

Thiscan happen for two min reasons.
1. Dust
2. Fan's bearing gone bad.

Easiest way is get a compressed air can and clean the fan. (You do not need to take the TV apart)

If it did not work, replace the fan. (Will not cost you more than $20)

Fan/Engine noise.

Dig down inside and find where the noise is coming from. Just don't stick you hands inside while the TV is on.

Constant Buzzing sound when TV is on

The wiring may have fallen back onto the fan or that may never have been the problem at all. A common problem for DLP TVs is the color wheel motor. It will hum and change pitch especially as you power the TV on or off. Its an expensive repair in this TV because Toshiba does not sell it independently from the larger, more expensive light engine assembly. Don't allow this to fall out of warranty! Call the extended warranty company and tell them that the repair was not effective and that you want this resolved promptly before the warranty expires.

Loud possible fan noise

if you are not afraid to get in to the back of tv, the chassie has 4 different fans, you can unplug the tv remove all of the screws on the back, and remove the lamp door, there are about 5 plugs on the top of the chassie that plugs in the tv,donot unplug these plugs ,you can pull the chassie out of tv until you run out of wire on the plugs, then plug the tv in,turn the tv on, and you might hear the fan thats bad. If you are not comfortable with this call a repair man,the fans are not that expensive, and are pretty easy to change.i can guide you thru the replacement process if you need my help.
