No volume out of warranty fix! Call 1-800-237-4277 and a Sharp Rep will answer and if your problem is no volume she will ask you for serial and model number. Mine is Aquos LC-37D4U. There is a out of warranty fix for this problem.

What has happened is your sound card is shot. Were the card is placed is very hot and the babbot can't take the heat and melts. You can take the card out and clean it with some alcohol but this is a short fix. Card cost approx. 350 bucks I had to buy a surround sound for 199.00 which was better for me because now I have great sound and can watch movies as well.

How can i get a product key for my hp 6730b


Nobody is going to supply you with the product key. Not MS, not HP.
The good news is you don't need the product key if you order a set of restore disks for your notebook from HP. They come with a pre-activated copy of Windows Vista (probably Vista Business), which is specifically made for your machine.
If you live in the USA or Canada, here's how to get a set for $10.00:
1. Write down the part # and serial # on the bottom of the computer on the white tag. The model # is an HP-Compaq 6730b, but the part number will be found on that white tag below the serial #.

2. Call HP at 1-800-952-7689, option 1 (ordering restore disks is part of the list in the option).

3. Provide the info asked by the rep that answers the phone. Some just ask for the serial #, some want both, or they will just want the serial number and type of computer (6730b).

4. Have a Master Card or Visa ready for purchasing. They don't take Discover. You will be charged $10.00.

You will receive the disks by First Class Mail or you can pay an additional $10.00 for FedEx shipping.

How do I find out if my unit is still under warranty?


All you need to do is copy down the model and serial number and call the local weather king rep or even a dealer and they can tell you. Most units have a minimum of 5 year compressor warranty and 1 year on parts. Many units have 10 year compressor warranty and 5 year parts. It would be worth your while to check. Hope this helps.

Hi, if that is a 2005 carrier condenser, it may still have a warranty on the compressor. You need to copy down model and serial #, call the local Carrier rep and ask. That is your right to do so. The fan is probably not in warranty, but it is definitely worth replacing if it is bad. I sold carrier for 15 years, and sold many with 10 year parts warranty. First thing you need to do if you haven't done so is check on your warranty! If you can explain what it is doing a little more in detail I could probably tell you exactly what is wrong. I had a sharp XR-20X stolen and all I have is the box, I need the serial number for the police report can I find the serial number on the original box?


Sorry to hear that. Usually the number will be on a sticker on the box. I think Sharp TVs have 9 digit numerical serial numbers, e.g. 011223344. This number will have either "Serial" or S/N written next to it.

Your other option is to call Customer support. If you registered the warranty then Sharp will have the serial number of the TV registered to your name. I don't know your location so I've listed the numbers for USA and UK:

The Samsung web site has a convenient section for checking the warranty for your electronic device. You must register first; the process takes only a minute or so. All you need, in addition to the usual stuff such as name, email and password, is the model and serial number of your product. yOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO USE THE SERIAL AND MODEL NUMBERS. The factory technician will ned those at the least.Look up the Midea on the internet and get the factory rep to explain the warranty or the dealer you purchased the unit. Good Luck

Newly Purchased SHARP Microwave Oven Model R-315J Now makes Loud Noise..No Microwaves Produced?


If I had to bet, I would say the high voltage rectifier diode is shorted or the magnetron has failed.

But since it's newly purchased, it will be under warranty and I'd let Sharp fix it free.
